23 weeks and popping out

Our furniture came yesterday! Here is Brett putting the crib together.

Here are the four corners of the room.

We have a problem! Yankee is in love with the changing table. He practically fell asleep instantly in it.

AND a new chair for the living room.

AND diaper bag.

AND carseat.

It has been a week for deliveries! My garage is now filled with cardboard. So much excitement, sensory overload for me.

22 weeks US and Appointment

Here are some belly shots, including the "sneak up on steph, works every time" one.

We had our 22 weeks appointments today. The ultrasound was a great opportunity to see our growing baby. The munchkin was not very photogenic with the snapshots so the best I have are a sort of side profile and a cute little foot.

All of the anatomy measurements were perfect, baby weighs about 1lb 3 oz, 3 days ahead. Heartbeat was 148. He/She is sitting breech right now with the L hand behind the head. Saw a lot of mouth opening during the US too. We are looking at 4D US in the area for sometime in May. The rest of the midwife appointment went smoothly too, right on track for weight and bp was normal too. I have the green light to travel at 29 weeks also Sarah:)

Big news this week- Brett was able to feel the baby kick. I was feeling some harder ones so I told him to put his hand on my belly. Each time I felt it, he would tell me if he did too. AND he finally did, several of them which was quite amazing.

We also got the registry up on running at Target. AND ergo baby carriers were the special on babysteals.com today, I got one for super cheap. Savy online shopper that I am:)

Fenced In!

20 weeks

20 Weeks. I keep forgetting half way there~ Black sure is not slimming! I still feel like I have not "popped" yet. It is not as large as pictured:)

Yankee wanted in on the action. He is around me all the time and lays on my belly.

Brett starting in on the painting this week.

Finished room with bumper on the floor. I still have to do the picket fence stencil on each side of the window. Also ordered sheep decals on etsy.com today.

I love the sheep.

My 26th birthday. We went shopping in Williamsburg at the outlet mall. Found some deals at Motherhood Maternity, Carters, and Gap. It was a perfect Birthday. Next year I will have an 8 month old!!!!!! I will have to share my twinkie cake:( Unless the baby takes after Brett and does not particularly like sweets.

How far along? 20 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +7lbs
Maternity clothes? Some cute tops. Bought jeans last week at Motherhood Maternity, find them quite hideous though. I will do the rubber band trick as long as possible. Or sweatpants. Haven't gone to Old Navy or Target yet.
Stretch marks? Not yet.
Sleep: Get up 1-2 times a night. I wake up earlier too.
Best moment this week: Kicking and kicking! Also hearing the heartbeat at home with my stethoscope. Putting headphones on my belly, James Taylor and Classical music thanks to Katie and Jason!
Movement: Usually daily.
Food cravings: Anything.

What I am looking forward to: Continue decorating the nursery. Ultrasound in 2weeks.
