~Baby Updates~18 weeks

How far along? 18 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: +7lbs
Maternity clothes? Not wearing them yet, have bought several tops though.
Stretch marks? Just trying to prevent them.
Sleep: Get up 1-2 times a night.
Best moment this week: Feeling the little nudges and pokes inside of me! All of the sudden I knew there was something bigger inside of me.
Movement: see above:)
Food cravings: Anything. Really enjoyed a chocolate shake from McDonalds.
Gender: ?? Find out in July
What I miss: Nothing
What I am looking forward to: Decorating the nursery and registering.

We had our 18 week appointment today and everything was on track, no problems. Heard the little heart beat again. I go again in a month and also have the next ultrasound.

This past weekend we went to Des Moines for state wrestling and also BABY SHOPPING. Will placed 4th!! We found the crib below and also got the tall dresser in the background and a longer shorter dresser that we will put the changing pad on. It should arrive in six weeks. The bedding is from Pottery Barn and I am so happy to have that part done. I think I have been looking at bedding ever since I found out I was pregnant. It is neutral and calm with cute little lambs on it.
I had many creative ideas on Sunday and this is one of them. Once the bedding comes I will match the colors for the paint. I am thinking green walls and white/yellow stripe. If I was really talented, even a gingham stripe. On each side of the window I would like to paint this white picket fence. I like the artwork in the bedding picture so I found some cheap prints on ebay and I will mat them with a gingham print and put them in oversized frames. Still need to find a glider for the room. I also plan on doing some things with fabrics, like pillows and lampshade. That's about all, FULL of ideas:)
