Weekend in Chicago
This past weekend Brett and I stayed in Chicago after dropping my sister off at the airport. We spent a lot of time at museums, eating, and walking around. On the first day we went to the Field Museum which was very near our hotel on Michigan Ave. We walked up and down the Ave several times, checking out the parks, Grant Park and Millenium Park. The next day we went to the Art Institute, waited nearly 2hrs to eat at a restaurant for Brett:) Went up to the Hancock Observatory and Navy Pier at night, which was super cool. I tried to eat all the carnival food I could possibly fit in but did not get very far after the funnel cake. On Sunday morning when we left we did a quick drive on Lake Shore drive. On the way home we stopped at our friends in Rock Island to see their new house and new baby! and then......... we had a food tasting thing at our house with Wade and Alissa for their wedding. Excellent, free food and a cute chef too.
What a lovely way to spend a weekend~!
I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel bathroom.
